General & Others Overall is Oda more of Zoro Fan or Sanji Fan?

Zoro is Oda's second most favorite character, read the manga and you can understand that even for a subordinate the shine that he gets is sometimes even more than the MC. How many times has Oda clowned Zoro for cheap humor? It is just that WCI was a Sanji centric arc (again Sanji was used because such an arc for Zoro would really hurt the manga), it is the reason Sanji has been used as a hype tool post TS. Luffy, Zoro and Nami are probably Oda's favorites, I think Oda also likes Law seeing how much screen time he was given post TS.
Zoro. He treats him like a baby by keeping him from being a potential hype tool. Even he kept him out of egghead so that he shouldn't wear shitty outfits egghead SHP had. Sanji is Oda's vent tool. Whenever he feels frustrated, he uses Sanji as a punching bag. This was not the case pre TS but for some reason, Oda hates Sanji since post-TS.
Isn't Sanji basically Oda self insert character ?

Some will say Zoro is his favorite because he is always cool and collected but that's how teenagers would write their favorite characters, Oda doesn't work like that. Just watch how he treats Buggy which we know for sure is one his favorites. He loves to put Sanji through all kind of hard situations and isn't afraid of making him look lame while still giving him his fair share of cool moments. He is probably one of the characters Oda is the most comfortable writing for.
He still loves Zoro tho imo, so I would say it's probably like 60-40 for Sanji

It's common for a writer to love to torture their favorite OCs. To watch them struggle, and show how they get through those struggles, come out more developed, and more real through them. I do it to my mains constantly, and every other writer I know does it too.
