Character Discussion Wano characters that weren't needed?

-Scabbards could've been reduced in number.
-Hiyori didn't amount to much.
-Oda could've done more with Hawkins and Drake but Hawkins definitely served his role contrasting with Kid and Killer and ultimately fighting to overcome his fate but without discarding his pride. Drake also served his purpose as part of Sword and contrasting with Bowler Hat but his involvement could've been developed much better.
-Numbers were present pretty much solely to get wrecked. They were giant experiments but aside from them existing, they didn't add much (aside from maybe the callback to Thriller Bark).
-Yamato and Momonosuke could've been handled better but they served their purposes with Momo rising up to be leader, facing his fears (Kaido) and getting older so he'll be capable in the near future (relatively speaking) and Yamato was there to contrast with Kaido and she acted as a capable ally that, similar to Momonosuke, was a mix of Kaido and Oden.
-The Oniwabanshu aside from Fukurokujo were unnecessary. Hyogoro's friends were similarly unimportant. Hotei did like nothing though I didn't go in with expectations for him.
-Brook and Usopp pretty much just provided support. Usopp against Page One didn't lead anywhere for him and Brook besting a Number and some gifters swiftly was nice but didn't add much to the arc.

That dumpster in the form of humanoid animals were also needless.

Because of them,Perospero,who was such a promising villain,ended up as a irrelevant garbage who was defeated in a single chapter.
Make Perospero be Chopper's opponent in the arc would be the perfect way to make him relevant again,but "No,the shitty side characters that i spam are more important." BRUH!!

Thats completely too far.
I agree otherwise with the rest of what you said though. Chopper vs Perospero would have been pretty nice, as Chopper loves candy too. Monster Point vs Peros candy and huge creations too. Make it him, Sulong Wanda and Sulong Carrot vs him, sorted. Perospero was the most unspoke true Yonko Commander too. Hell, Oven kinda felt like one too.
I got so sick of the obsession with Oda bringing up Pedro's death constantly and then after all that, Wanda and Carrot lost to him anyway, Perospero might still be alive right now and wasn't killed by them anyway a least and Luffy brings it up fucking randomly to Kaido all people too?! So fucking random!
Dude I was so fucking hyped for Brook vs Apoo too.
Oda did so many characters dirty that arc. CP0, Drake, Brook, Kiku, Izo, Ashura Doji etc.
Imagine's Toei's fantastic work with Brook before at WCI, their musical stuff at WCI with Germa, the Underworld Brokers, Film Red in general (visually and musically, animation etc) and other movies and so on. Such fucking wasted potential, my god.
It would have been like a Jojo type fight potentially or even Bleach! Rose 's Bankai in TYBW comes to mind especially...

Although no decapitations/fatalities either lol. Man sliced Kizaru in half pre TS with just music too!
Also the 1st 45 seconds of that Kung Fu Hustle scene are incredible! Such a hauntingly, poetically, morbid and horrifying moment, so artistic but so brutal too!
Since Queen and the Beast Pirates love to have raves and thus love concerts/music too, a musical battle of Brook vs Apoo would have made them very happy too!
Marias song was so enchanting in the manga but they made it so horny in the anime too?!
It fit the tone of the samurai epic really well but she was "plucking the strings" a little too enthusiastically, getting a bit too "excited" there!
We should have got this for Hotei too of all people LMFAO! Denjiro vs Hotei maybe? Or another Scabbard at least?:

If Orochi had been a really powerful villain,all those panels wasted with he hiding due his powerlessness,he being killed again and again,and even the plotline of the fire he set in the castle would never have happened.

Orochi was like the most unfunny, constantly repeated/beaten down joke ever. Even Kuro, Krieg and even freaking Jango were better villains, characters, threats too. Buggy, Wapol, Foxy etc too!
Okami treated Yamata No Orochi with FAR more superiority and respect, especially compared to Odas shitty writing of him.
Orochi felt like a Spandam 2.0 especially and not in a good way. I'm expecting Loki to be another goofy, unfunny cringe fest and fraud too. Probs gonna be like Wapol or Buggy too or something. But an actually awful version of them, especially if it's Buggy.
Buggy is fucking hilarious and one of his best characters imo, characters like Orochi are some of his worst by comparison.
Orochis backstory was great, him blowing up the bridges, being so malicious and petty but Oda still wrote him pathetically.
I can understand why he did that but it was a fucking terrible choice imo. Even Doffys shittier members were better than him! The gifters too! Somehow!!!
Actually Loki might be another Enel but much shittier to think of it. Worst Enel imitation ever potentially.
Although Imu seems more like Enel potentially, the whole God complex/supreme ruler vibe. Albeit Imu is just a silhouette with menacing eyes and literally no personality and dialogue yet though.
