Controversial Sasuke is better than Kurapika

Sasuke is a lost and directionless character. His plotlines are forced and contrived. And at the end of the day he's just an object of Naruto's obssession.
He feels more like a plot tool, constantly being swayed about. And in my opinion this started around the time of Sasuke vs Itachi....where Itatchi was magically revealed to be a good big bro. This was a major hit to Sasuke's plotline since it was idiotic and forced. Then Sasuke's moral choices started to become even worse and worse.
As for Kurapika, he has multiple plotlines going on for him. Yes, I will admit....that his main plotline in this current arc is very slow. But in general this entire arc feels very slow. But yh Kurapika's plots are versatile, his moveset is more interesting and I feel he has more interesting things coming his way when he sees the Spiders.

Kurapika is more nuanced
Sasuke is driven to vengeance even willing to discard his friends
Like his entire character centers around that goal
Where kurapika has a character outside of wanting to murder the phantom troupe
And even in the arc where he kills uvogin, he shows some remorse and decently burying uvogin and crying
I like the naruto series and all
but hunterxhunter is way better wrote
This is a fact which easily understood by looking at the fights
Kakashi can pretty much win any fight instantly by genjutsu'ing his opponent to the ground and that is not used often because it would brake the tension of fights however togashi does not give any of the characters one shot abilities so the fights can end without pis and so big powers have meaning like in hxh if you want a large power, you need to sacrifice something like for kurapika it was that he can never hurt anyone but phantom troupe members and if he does then he's dead

Kurapika is the original and way better than Sasuke.
Kurapika's desire for vengeance is slowly eating away at his humanity and he knows this. Kurapika cares about his buddies but he is so deadset in his revenge that he believes that its something he must do alone and he'll only drag his buddies down with him, not knowing that it's that very action pushing him to lose his humanity in the first place. His buddies are literally his brakes and he needs them.
Sasuke on the other hand suddenly went pure evil at the end of part 1 and tried to kill his best friend. Sasuke gets manipulated 24/7 and constantly changes his goals. One time he delved into pure insanity and wanted everyone to die, and even tried to kill Sakura and Karin(I'm talking evil smirk, laugh and everything), but one quick chat brought him back just like that. Sasuke is just a mentally unstable child who doesn't know what he wants.
