I think his hype doesn't come from nowhere and he has some claims : chief of the RA, father of Luffy/son of Garp, captain of beats like Sabo, Kuma, Iva etc. I think Dragon COC can be insane

way back my Dragon was the strongest in my eyes

but in times Dragon lost his hype for me ... mostly after his fight Vs Teach ... and his 4 leader not being that great

but still while for now I consider Dragon as top 6

Shanks , Dragon and Kaido are only people in the verse who can have a claim for top 1 ... expect for Imu , Luffy and Teach

any other person being top 1 don't make sense for me or plot

Shanks is not more liked than Zoro ... not even close ... people can be fair not just fan

Zoro of course should get the hype, that is bound to happen because he is part of the main crew and gets screen time and all other stuff way more than others (except Luffy) so Zoro is inevitable and should have huge fandom... however shanks as I said is Itachi of One Piece, he has few appearance but his fandom is one of largest and places him over other characters

Kaido have best claim ... I never said other wise since 923

but I don't buy Dragon hype as a fighter ... cause he never been shown as one ... most of his hype is from him being a great leader-fighter

he wasn't even in a real match his whole life ... he was unknown 10 years ago and hasn't been in a top fight unlike rest of top tiers

but when I was sure he is not ... my loved died ... and he didn't had a interesting story arc yet that I can hold on to that


if Shanks don't get a legit story arc and don't be as strong as I expect him to be ... he may end up like Dragon

nah you are not fair enough to put them above, you still think Shanks is strongest but just giving them a chance of giving Shanks a tough fight (based on how you compared one hand Shanks and Roger...giving clear message of 2 Hands owning everyone to which we also can claim Mihawk owning everyone else since he was equal to 2 hands Shanks)
but yeah of course people like the strongest or should I say who they believe to be strongest (or want to be strongest)
