Yes and no. It's like Zoro vs Mr 1. Luffy had it all to defeat King already except AdCoC which he would need to awaken in battle otherwise it's a loss. Apart from AdCoC his speed, durability, flight, techniques would be serious trouble for King.

Snakeman Luffy with Adv CoA will be overkill for King. King's best shot is to switch to speed mode to evade Snakeman's attacks but it would leave his defense vulnerable. But we all know that ain't no way King would dodge all of Snakeman's attacks even in speed mode. One slip up and King would gets pummeled to death. That's how I see it.

Theoretically, post WCI Luffy is stronger than King but Luffy doesn't have the tool to beat him (which is where Adv CoA comes in).
