The strongest character according to this forum could not defeat Jozu because he is a pure swordsman but not even he could cut diamond. This shows that things are not always that simple. Some characters simply have advantages over others. Another example was Ace, who could easily melt away Aokiji's Ice Pheasant but was completely powerless against Akainu's attacks.

You all still forget about the lie that the Marines were feeding Squardo to get the betrayal of the Allies of WBP, that no WBP would be harmed while only the Allies would get wrecked.
That's the only thing which saved Atmos, Jozu from Doffy and Vista from Mihawk honestly.
