Vs. Marines and vs. WG dont have to be the same arc necessarily.

New Marineford is considered the main defense of Mariejois. They could go there and defeat the Marines, then recover and assault Mariejois. It does not all have to happen at once.

It's way too late to have the Straw Hats still getting negged by Admirals and what not.
I can see Mr Saturn ( props to people who get that reference ) pushing Luffy to mid or high diff if he's considerably above Kizaru and Akainu like his role suggests.
Kizaru pushing Zoro to high-extreme diff will also make sense, his Logia awakening could somewhat make up for the Haki gap.

Ignoring the Zoro vs Sanji debates, it will be a treat to watch Luffy taking on a Gorosei and Zoro fighting against an Admiral on his own.
But I doubt Oda will do it.
I guess, this Saturn Gorosie is the new Kizaru and Kizaru is the new Sentomaru.

Nah Saturn is the current Spandam and Kizaru is the Lucci.
