Zoro's character is all about strength..he's like essentially Kaido, Mihawk and Whitebeard but in main character form.

Him not being strongest fighter in history wouldn't make much sense.
Its like Sanji not being best chef in history.

You have thousands of panels with someone sweating with Exclamation marks. It doesn't mean anything. You have Mihawk sweating against Zoro in their first fight. Oda draws sweats where he wants to. It's as simple as that.

Again, the silly copout is pretending like he (or his assistants) draws so many that there's no reason for it. I wouldn't go so far as to say S Hawk was afraid, but Zoro definitely had his attention and clearly presented a major threat. On top of that Zoro was smirking, until you think that was "accidentally" drawn too

Shawk didn't push anyone away
