Future Events Who will be the final villain?

I've noticed quite a lot of good discussions that have skirted around this topic in various threads in the past few days, so I'd like to see everyone's opinions on this. Who do you think the final villain will be? How do you think the final war will go? Will Dragon ever do anything other than scowl menacingly?

The historical conflict since one piece started has always been between Ds and Celestial Dragons

So because of this, alone i think the final arc will resolve more around the Ds and Celestial Dragons than marines who are more used by the world government in the entire thing(Gorosei using Cp0 behind Akainu's back for a deal with Doflamingo, them using Cp0 to keep tabs on Wano without marines knowing, Aokiji deserting the world government after believing they aren't the end of all, Fujitora doubting the world government behaviour and so on).

And beyond this, i believe this picture in particular suggest there would be a meeting between Imu, Blackbeard and Luffy

With Blackbeard representing the "evil D" aiming at overthrowing the Celestial Dragons and reign supreme in an era of terror, disliking "boring peace" in MF while attempting to sink everything

With his behaviour being too evil imo for Whitebeard to realize Roger wouldn't root for him since he'd try to destroy the world and create his era of terror instead of seeking peace.

Hence why i think that overall the final villain will be between Imu/Gorosei and Blackbeard

It is most likely BB, he has beem build (and very well) for that role sinc the start.

He is a part of the story since the very early OP so it is a part of the original project (OP at first was planned to be a way shorter manga before he become known worldwide) and this applies only to characters like Shanks, Mihawk and maybe a few others who are pillars of the story.

Since his introduction he is presented as the opposite of Luffy plus from that very first encounter Oda starts to tease us with BB's secrets (strange body, plurals etc.) and that is still going on nowadays years and years after the 1st encounter.

BB is the only villain who costantly grew through the story just like Luffy andbthe SH. Oda made his very story branch with him as the focus, we can say without a doubt he was the mastermind behind Marineford war, he provoked it by capturing Ace and at the same time gained the shiki title, used the war and his new title to go shopping in Impel down and at the end took WB's fruit. Now hebrose tobthe emperor rank and he is always a step above Luffy.

As for the portrait Oda told us he is an ambitious bastard but also so smart to trick the WG and WB at the same time.

He get the strongest logia and then gained the strongest paramecia. Now he just lacks the strongest zoan.

Then we know Marineford was the milestone which divides the story in 2 parts. The first part ended with BB declaring that it was his age.

So imo it is clear Oda is building him since the start to be the final villain.

His contenders are:

Rocks, introduced very late even if he could have the caliber, yet this screams Kaguya so nope, I don't think Oda will ever do that mistake. Yet could be a part ofbthe secret of BB so be and not be the eos villain.

IM, seems a bit like Rocks. Ibtorduced very late in the story, we know he is alive yet he doesn't give the vibe of a powerhouse, shredding the bounty posters with a sword is something Spandam would do, yet he is still a mistery. Kaguya's danger here too. Imo he could just be used as a final hype tool for BB or something like that.

Akainu, as of now he is an underling of the underlings of IM, that ruins his hype. Also he killed Ace and that was crucial but aside from that he has never been explored not even a quarter of what Oda did with BB. He could be Ace's fight or a fight before the EoS villain or used as hype for the eos villain or something but he is not build to take that role.

The others are even less relevant.

Imu will be the final villain, but the Gorosei will be his fighters. Since he just declared war on the World Government, would have to regroup with his Commanders and see how that situation is, but probably won't be making his move until Luffy become the PK.

I feel like it has to be imu at this point tbh cause i don't see him and the world government being taken down before teach. They might be taken down during the same time at best.
Tho i imagine teach will be the final hurdle before the one piece is found before the final war.

If not the strawhats fight teach while the revs and other allies and shit face of against the world government at the same time. I believe its way less likely tho

Both teach and luffy are D's and enemies to the wg to the point imu is weary of them. So imu is probably a bigger threat and more important than 2 D's fighting eachother (nohomo). Dude probably has a role to play in the destruction of the ancient kingdom likely related to the D as well.

Could be all at the same time, that's what wars are about after all. Luffy had most tension built up already with Blackbeard and Akainu, I don't see any "newcomer" being able to beat that.

Dragon vs one of gorosei, then imu

Imu, but I believe the fight to defeat Imu will be a group battle.
Sort of like Kaguya from Naruto, I believe Imu will be ridiculously overpowered and the entire Straw Hat crew and more will be needed to defeat Imu.

The final 1v1 fight for Luffy will be against Sakazuki.

Lol yeah i wonder too, he's too OP for anyone besides lufy and zoro haha. At first when i watch OP first time i also thought sanji would be fighting kizaru alone cause it seems fit for sanji who is said proficient in CoO to fight one who arguably is thebfasest man alive. But it doesnt make sense if a cook whose make fighting his 2nd priority could be at same level with zoro and luffy whose focus on fighting-oriented. And we know that admirals are around the same level. So my best bet is sanji need to team up with his equal like jinbei lol.
