To be fair, kids brain do start distinguishing between things between the age of 4-7 as this age is ripe for learning and brain development.


However, no way a parent would feel that his 3 years old child is suffering from Gender dysphoria because he had sleepless nights.

No way a parent would advocate for surgey for a child of such young age without going through counselling.

Children are immature and can't take decision at such age.

Even if...and I say if child really develops such things then parents should wait for child to grow into adult for any surgery as he should be mature enough to take such decision on his own
