The reason USA get involved in other counties like Latin American , Vietnam because USA want it prevent communism spreading and overthrow left wing leader and support people who has similar geo-politics like chile. From 1950-1990s.

Yes, to do what? Sure we're doing French-made and it's always better to eat things from your country but now the price of the meat(especially beef) is too high.
