Imo, a major reason why I dont think a sattelite is betraying anyone is because they all upload their experiences to Punk records. This would mean (unless Oda writes around it), that they'd know someone is betraying them.

Yes but they sync with Punk Records every couple of hours, not 24/7 iirc
The betrayal could be calculated to happen inbetween two sync periods
