Good episode, the scene of Momo and his clouds was beautiful.

My honest review, Luffy vs Kaido sky splitting was pretty good by standard for sure, better than Roger vs Whitebeard clash.

But it could have been better without the aftereffect and the clouds just straight up disappeared instead of the supposed "heavens splitting".

Two weapon users clashing with adcoc will always be more epic but this wasn't bad either

Anime stopped using the auras but the rule the animator mentioned in the op podcast that a character must glow gold when using conquerors haki continues cuz luffy had a golden aura before sky split

The golden auras are for Goofy and Zoro.
Mid sky slip, goofy couldn't K.O Tama with Kaido's help.
Toei confirming that base no haki Zoro and no power up is stronger than base King who's stronger than hybrid Marco and Kata. All strength, pure clashes, no hit and run and cheapshots.

Kaidou is the only character to share the skies twice and maybe 3 times if we count Shanks 2 years ago, while Shanks can be said 2 times.

In fact, Whitebeard also shared the skies twice, with Roger and Shanks, while Kaidou with Big Mom and Luffy, we can hypothetically insinuate that Shanks and Kaidou shared the skies too, hence the sky division ranking:


1st Place - Kaidou with a total of 2 times could be 3 assuming Kaidou and Shanks shared the skies.

episode was solid...tbh i had hoped the sky splitting moment lasted a few seconds longer it looked like it just came and went so fast, but i loved the roger and wb connection afterwards.Sanji and zoro back to back moment was clean af, and momo flying gave me chills.
