There is nothing blatantly obvious that puts Akainu over Kizaru.

He is put below Akainu in everything. Superior feats, Superior portrayal, Superior oponnents that he fought and finally Superior status as his boss. There's no argument here.

From DF power, most people agree that Kizaru has generally stronger DF than Akainu's magma.

I don't care what "most people" agree on. I care what Oda agrees on and for him Akainu > Kizaru.

Status doesn't really mean shit because Akainu used to be an Admiral too like Kizaru. If anything, admiral Akainu was stronger than Fleet Admiral Akainu, because Admiral Akainu's ear was still not damaged.

The Fleet Admiral has superior portrayal.
Akainu acquired that position via a showing of strength, no argument in Kizaru's favor here.

Portrayal? Akainu was afraid of Wano Samurai. Kizaru was ready to face Kaido and Big Mom.
Feats? Kizaru stalemate with Rayleigh. Akainu was rogdolled by Whitebeard.
Opponents? I agree that Whitebeard is superior to Rayleigh. Ok.
Status? Kong is superior to Akainu. Then he is stronger? So Gorosei too?

Now it looks like Akainu being the weakest among OG Admirals now thanks to your argument. Yeah you can replace broken leg with ice leg. But you can't replace damaged ear with magma ear. Magma can't be used to hear things.
