That's not sexism, At best it's predicable/stereotypical but not sexist.
That's not mysoginy, but that's definitely a form of soft sexism.

I did, I prefer to read superhero comics and animated series or films, or shows like Avatar, I can watch real strong women stories and fights here.
No you did not, or just with one eye, because you are missing the strong stories of women in One Piece here..

As a muslim I will say DEFINITELY.

For us the way women are shown and treaten by western society is highly dishonorable to them. Its disgusting how the industry have pushed women to be reduced to their body. Feminism is doing all that no good by trying to redefine natural gender roles forcefully new.

And One Piece is the negative pinnacle work of objectifying women and their bodies without the use of actual sexual intimacy. I mean its almost impossible to do it any worse in an age-free Shonen. Oda has a sick mind like most of the societies and people which are godless without basic moral principles - all these sick fans for example who patheticly enjoy the "ecchi" part of Anime like One Piece and do nothing but talk about fictional women.

As far as female cast goes, Avatar negs most, if not all, shounen.
Katara becomes one of the most OP waterbenders.
Azula is a prodigy.
Kyoshi was powerful as fuck.
Toph is a badass.
Even Suki is amazing.

And that's just the legend of Aang.

Well compared to One Piece and most mangas...
Not really no. One piece might have one of the best writing of women I have ever seen. And I love superhero gendra.

I think you are confusing the fact that a lot of women in One Piece are victim of oppression with the false thinking that they are not strong women. They are. In fact, Robin, Nami and Vivi might be the strongest women I have ever seen, they are just not equiped with amazing powers, (well, Robin is) for that you can look at Big Mom, Hancock, Stussy, Yamato even if you want ot consider them a women.

The genre of superhero doesn't even come close to this. Sure the women have powers, but they are depicted mostly in a sexist way (in the narration).

They have amazing backstories.
But that doesnt mean anything if it's not backed up by good and engaging activities bar fan service.
Considering this is a shounen, Robin got the absolute shortest end of the stick by how much she was nerfed post-Alabasta.
Now she BARELY began rising in power against Black Maria, which is funny because people used to think Black Maria was the WEAKEST of the Flying 6 for absolutely no reason at all.
And people went fucking massive denial mode after her bounty was revealed to be higher than Sasaki's.
:lulz:

The "great women" of One Piece often tend to be pacifists that are "revered" as amazing people. But it falls short when every problem is solved by "beating the crap out of the bad guy anyway".
Toki was made into a breeding mare for the most imbecile character Oda's ever created.
Hyori got absolutely robbed of her moment by the "shining knight Denjiro".
Tashigi?
Holy fuck Tashigi.
Tashigi's been humiliated every chance Oda gets to make her appear in the story.
Called weak by everyone, even by a "good guy" like Law.
Tashigi began to shine when Oda decided to make her a babysitter for the PH kids.
Rebeca went from a cool Gladiator with an interesting fighting style to "save me, big hero daddy I can't do shit but cry" in a matter of seconds.

Just because Nami and Robin are slightly better than other shounen female casts, doesn't mean they are that "amazing" compared to other stories. They still fall short for 2023 standards.

I am especially bitter about how Oda treated Tashigi, I was so furious at how she was used and treated during Punk Hazard.

I honestly don't understand what's Oda's deal with Tashigi.
She appears in the story as a throw back to Kuina.
I thought she would become strong and pose some sort of challenge to Zoro. After all, she wants to take back all meito from Pirates. Guess who's got one of those? The strongest swordsman in the world. Gotta get strong to do that.
But no.
She's a "Weak Kuina".
Which kinda proves that Kuina's fear of growing weak was actually right.

Isn't that fantastic?

Why ?

Tashigi?

Not really no. Crying is not "being humaliating", Tashigi is in fact very interestingly written, she question her own path which is not banal.

Rebeca went from a cool Gladiator with an interesting fighting style to "save me, big hero daddy I can't do shit but cry" in a matter of seconds.
I can understand the grudge around Rebecca, but her character was never the one of a fighter rather than the one who was suffering because of the absence of a father figure. She fought to be close to her soldier/dad. Rebecca in that relationship is passive so I can understand your problem with it but it isn't bad writing.

Just because Nami and Robin are slightly better than other shounen female casts, doesn't mean they are that "amazing" compared to other stories
Oh yes they are.. and far better that the majority of what I have witness. Not even inside the shonen genre.
