TLDR: Carrot's natural strengths fit really well with Cipher Pol's Rokushiki techniques, so I think she'll learn them from either fighting people who use Rokushiki, or training with people who use Rokushiki (likely Kaku because his nose looks like a rectangular carrot, or Koby)

Insight into Carrot's power ups when she joins the crew.

Nah, Kaku and Lucci are being reintroduced into the plot to deal with Pluton. Oda has been setting up things behind the scenes.

-Kaku and Lucci were responsible for kidnapping Robin to locate and obtain Pluton
-Franky, who knew of Pluton's original blueprints, is meeting Vegapunk, who is researching ancient technology from the Void Century and Ancient Kingdom
-Vivi is from the kingdom, who protected the Poneglyph that held Pluton's location
-Crocodile is making moves with Cross Guild, and wants the ancient weapon
-Shiki wanted to work with Roger to take an Ancient Weapon, and is still active but missing
-Caribou is missing while knowing about Pluton's location
-We saw Imu use what is presumably Uranus to destroy Lulusia

Kaku and Lucci will travel with the Straw Hats to Wano for Act 4, to watch the activation of the Ancient Weapon they sought in the first place

This will resolve Robin and Rob Lucci's plot, by making it so that Lucci no longer has a reason to hunt Robin, as her knowing about Pluton isn't important once it's already been taken.

Well... as much as I would like the team to get back to Wano and take a certain oni with them, I doubt SH will return.... unless BB makes a move on Wano.

I wonder if Lucci and Kaku won't end up somehow as SH captives - like the WG won't want to work with CP0 trio as all of them are compromised, and it will be either death for them, or bounty, or whatever, and they will have to side with pirates somehow.

Kaku and Lucci are anyways already being targeted by the WG (S-Bear and S-Hawk were attacking tehm and trying to kill both.)
