I mean the thread is focused on rivalry. But yea I mean they're not WB, they're meant to be better just like Luffy is meant to be better than Roger. Age to Age measuring Kid & Law will blow Whitebeard outta the park.
We're talking about dudes in their early 20s who won't peak until late 30s, and comparing them to fully peaked out people for strength measuring lol.

Whitebeard and roger were rivals despite being very friendly

in reality probably no one and i don't think we have time to make another actual rival for luffy expect BB
but in name if you want one knowing oda its very possible that it will be buggy he will do some more lucky things and will be in right place at right time and will gain most fame after luffy it happened few time already he was seen as master mind along side luffy in ID when stronger and bigger names were there he also become a yonko along side luffy and probably will be seen as someone in same level as luffy in end game
also people probably will see kid and law as his rivals after buggy even tough they probably will never have an actual fight

Buggy as his WB and Equal (in name and fame)
Kid and law as likes of Shiki - BM
Coby as Garp (in name - im not sure about coby if he doesn't get an op df i don't think he can reach garp level until EoS)
