Being an emperor has nothing to do with relevance. Kid and law already have equal bounties to luffy and defeated an emperor. Now both are getting screentime in a arc they aren’t even in.


Kid and law have been relevant all of post timeskip while Blackbeard and shanks were doing…. Nothing. All of a sudden now that Blackbeard and shanks start to move kid and law are gonna be irrelevant

1. Kid and Law are "protagonists". They ally with the MC. Thats it. You dont see the other Yonko act until its their time because they are the top pirates of the story. You also act like Kid did anything outside of Wano. You will not see Kid and Law fight Luffy in any meaningful manner. Their entire ship as rivals/antagonists has passed. There is a reason they are both encountering the 2 unknown Yonko now.


2. Ive literally been saying for years Blackbeard and Shanks are far, FAR more important than the other 2 Yonko. Theres a reason 2 of them fell and now no longer relevant. We dont equate "Yonko" as a title for relevance.

Fuck, BM was less relevant than even Kaido lmfao.


There is no contradiction. You absolutely know Oda puts BB and Shanks on a higher pedestal than anyone else outside of Luffy.
But sure, continue to delude yourself into thinking secondary protagonists are going to individually take out and wipe away the 2 main roadblocks to One Piece and not Luffy.

Its maniacal you guys have this logic lmao. Its also just fucking Sanji vs King or ZKK logic all over again. You can very clearly see who and what Oda prioritizes and to whom (Zoro fights the #2 not Sanji, Luffy defeats the #1 not Zoro).

Get this through your heads, the status quo is not changing. BM losing after having already essentially lost on her own turf goes to show you that Oda treats her as the least relevant Yonko in the series. But sure, celebrate that Kid and Law tag teamed the least relevant Yonko:suresure:

Shanks is important but in not-engaging-much kind of way. One Piece is 90% done and besides Romance Dawn all he did for the 20+ years is played a role of mysterious looming figure. He is important like Roger, or Whitebeard, but not like a character whose adventures we follow if that makes sense.

FIrst chapter of one piece implied Shanks will die before luffy give him the hat .
I do not think Kid will kill shanks but I do think kid will be more important then shanks and will last longer then him in the one piece run .
I think shanks will be dead when it will be the final war and kid will be part of this war.
