It is realy ahrd to tell how much damage Law did with puncture willy but lets not forget it is
2 Damn punk vs puncture willy and no one can prove puncture is superior to 2 damn punk in dps.
It is kid and law attack togetehrs that was close ot bajrang gun in power .

If Luffy was the background character and switched places with Kid everyone would say Luffy didn't have plot armor and worked hard training while Kid just goes straight to the New World to fight most emperors and just loses one easily replaceable arm he doesn't even need to fight, it's characters like Pedro whose whole life was instantly wrecked by getting in the path of an Emperor that have little plot armor.

I think Shanks Mihawk fit the Roger/Beard build and Kaido is Xebec
Modern Era would have Blackbeard (Xebec) Luffy (Roger) Zoro (Whitebeard)
Ancient Era had Imu (Xebec) Joy Boy (Roger) Ryuma(Whitebeard)
No one besides Zoro is Whitebeard of this era despite his role in the story

like if Shanks use anything less than 1055 feat NO reasonable man can blame him for taking damage

--Personally I still don't see kidd beat kata with matchup. Why is rooftop kidd above Kata?
--Current Kidd won't even touch BM with his feats.

I am only going by portrayal.
Oda didn't have non top tiers land hit on Admirals and Whitebeard, or get a best of them
It was impossible to land a hit on Mihawk, cheap shot or not, commander level or not.
It was pre time skip, gap wasn't as supposed to be as big but he still portrayed Mihawk as an untouched guy.
