"Joyboy" is simply the representation of the wacky nature of Nika. Neither Joyboy, or Nika is the real name of the original fruits owner. Nika was the power he acquired and "Joyboy" was the title he was given, because of his exploits of liberating people and bringing Joy wherever he went, using the Devil Fruit ability of Nika.
Not to mention if Devil Fruits worked like that, then Luffys haki would be on a God's level, which it clearly isn't. He had the same level of haki while awakened, as he had prior to Awakening. Nothing changed.
