Powers & Abilities Why is Conqueror's coating so much overhyped?

ACoC was what CoA was pre-timeskip.

Luffy getting CoA would have been a huge boon but someone like Marguerite getting it is worthless.

Luffy getting ACoA was massive but someone like Yamato getting it was pointless.

Candies should focus more on things related to Lanji and forget about haki, more free gimmicks and cooking utensils and less things that require talent, hard work and ambition.

Is there any other reason other than Zoro fans agendas? Or is it the general fanbase's lame ass reading skills, interpretations and terrible powerscaling?

Also, why did Luffy was still competing against Kaido with weaker Haki? Keep in mind this is post skysplit, and we don't even know how did Kaido managed to make his Haki get stronger in the middle of the fight.

Crazy how people ignore that Kaido's literal last resort against Luffy post Awakening was: A Devil Fruit ability based on heat output.

I think the potential of guys like Sanji and Akainu are renting free in some people's minds to be honest...

The pinnacle of Kaido's Devil Fruit ability VS the pinnacle of Luffy's Devil Fruit ability at the moment.

Well, i guess that is the consequence of establishing such a shonen-like garbage ability

It's the same asspull crap. It's like trans people competing in sports against someone who is in biological disadvantage, then one still loses the competition (or barely wins) but keeps getting praised for no damn reason.

On paper it means: "Natural disposition/willpower to be among the strongest"

How Zoro fans see it:
"Conqueror's coating is the strongest power in the universe. Zoro can use 3x because he has 3 swords, so he is 3x stronger than everyone else who has that ability, and 6x stronger than who doesn't"

It's sad the fact that Sanji has a extremely high chance of getting this ability once Oda addresses Sanji's ambition to find the All Blue, the "failure with no royal pride and talent by birth" plotline started with "the year of Sanji" is just standing there waiting for it's completion.

If Oda removed this ability from the story the writing would be so much better, it's crazy... Or he could simply change this by making it an ability that ANYONE can achieve if they have what it takes. The Haki system is already a kind of a mess as it is

Just because sanji doesn't have it, a power that can split the sky, causes destruction on a large scale with the shockwave and even blows weak willed away is overhyped? You have wasted important moments of your life writing this.

Its not the coating thats wanked but the specific character that has it
Like people will wank a character having above those without unless its yamato and unless its the admirals

But they generally are to be wanked above those who don't have it.
Write down the names of all seniors who have it. They were or are all, without exception > admiral. Just because there are some characters who aren't able to easily fuck up an admiral (YET) doesn't change it. It's the groundwork for saying be cautious this person claps yor mom.

If Roger would've become a farmer and never touched a sword, but somehow still learned a bit adv CoC, he'd also be < admirals since he didn't use all his potential

Just be patient. Sanji will have it and then they'll all be saying it doesn't mean anything or raging that he didn't deserve it or some other crap. The volume cover confirms it, and people are just in denial.

Plus Doffy isn't proficient enough with CoC apparently.
There's hierarchy even among CoC users, just like everywhere.
Not every CoC user or even an adv CoC user must be within top 5 of the world but everyone who enters the top 5 of the world is an adv CoC user.

Funny, because Sanji has already seen glimpses of the future, even if he is not aware, including in Onigashima and against Queen. Oda made Luffy himself admit Sanji knew more about Observation than he did.

Oda doesn't needs to make someone openly state in the manga "omfg look at Sanji, he has Advanced Observation Haki"

Even Zoro himself wasn't aware of his Conqueror's and Conqueror's coating, in the middle of his fight against King and during Ashura. We literally could just tell he was using it because of the Haki trails on his sword... And that is considering Conqueror's Haki has a big meaning for the protagonists, because their ambitions are basically what makes them relevant and enjoyable in the story... It's the embodiement of their ambitions and most important character traits, and that is something Advanced forms of Observation doesn't need to have

Funny is that you assume things no Sanji didn't gasp the future
Also Sanji has a wider range than Luffy

Luffy has adv COO which in combat outclasses Sanjis


Before adv COC Luffy simply no match for Kaido afterwards it become a close match

The same for Zoro before King outclassed Zoro with COC Zoro won without Ashura

Coc is the most important haki it significantly increases the attack output by a great margin
