Is Ichigo not basically a god himself, is there anything he is not good at. Among the mcs, he's the only one who can do it all, be a shinigami, visored, hollow, Quincy, you name it and he's it.

Every mc has to be "special" in all ways, it's their trope. But Ichigo basically didn't change from the start at all apart from having to learn a new power each time, while Naruto had like a million realizations and obstacles - comrades, death, family, abandonment, revenge, loneliness etc. etc.

The Asura thing cheapens his "lack of talent and hard work", but it does not erase all the character evolution.

Compare Ichigo at the beginning to him at the end of TYBW. He's changed, more mature, less-hotheaded, etc. He's definitely not the same person he was at the start of the series.

His ideals and goals have been consistent though, while Luffy on the other hand, had a completely different goal apart from being King of the Pirates, but we don't even know it. I'm also a bit biased since I hated G5 and everything after that related to Luffy, but it is what it is.

More mature? You can say the same for Ishida and every other irrelevant character, they all changed in a generic way buttttt there’s not much substance there. Not as much as Naruto for sure.

Luffy still wants to be pirate king, that’s his goal. The dream is probably why. Probably best if we don’t compare him until we see the whole story.

Consistent as he stays true to himself. He of course faces hardships and changes when he overcomes these challenges. Naruto ain't consistent because he went form "I'm going to be hokage despite all my setbacks" to I'm the second coming of Jueus and everything was according to prophecy. Same with luffy. You are introduced to an adventure loving free kid, but in the end he's a slave to the Nika df. Only Ichigoat is Consistent, it is what it is. 🤷

Ichigo's mental fortitude during Full bring arc is insane. Luffy and naruto would have broken imo

seems like u didn't understand, Ichigo wasn't an underling but also he is not a leader, & saving the world or not, that's not my point, if it's like this then Goku would be the best by far because he saved the world many times.
Naruto & Ichigo wasn't the leaders of the wars they participated in, they are more like the MVPs of the wars, the five kages were leading the alliance during 4th ninja war, while Kyoraku was the leader of the war against Quincy, on the other hand when Luffy fought Crocodile, CP9, Doflamingo, Enel...etc, he was the leader, he & his crew were leading the battle.
& when we speak about saving country, it's important to note how many times they did it, not how big the country is? u know that it depends on the verse power level to be able to save a country or a planet or a universe, but the important thing is how many times they did it? how many villains they defeated? how many people they helped? it's a simple question, how many good things they did?
