Normally the blast wave and heat wave should be capable to bypass durability to some extent due the ginormous amount of pressure assuming Oda conceives that in a similar fashion he did with Jinbe's power to affect people made of water with water based attacks usages with his water shockwaves, although the concept is not exactly the same.

Because he literally compares them to Kaido, who btw was damaged by adCoA so that comparison falls apart if he did use it

he could’ve just used regular armament instead of internal damage. Just like Zoro is refusing to use adCoC for a reason

Luffy right now is always using advCoO and advCoA, nothing has shown that his haki level went down after mastering those levels of haki
