I don’t give a fuck about trans women in women’s prisons. Some trans women would legitimately be safer in women’s prisons. Especially if they’ve fully transitioned and are passing, they’d probably get brutally raped in a men’s prison.
Trans people are like .1% of the population. TERFs are being hysterical when they bitch and whine about women’s safety being under attack from literally one of the most marginalized groups in the world.
Also, it really seems like the root of a lot of the TERFs’ transphobia is in male hatred. Like to them, men are so dangerous and so violent that even men who have transitioned into women, people who have castrated themselves, taken estrogen, and are often attracted to men, are somehow a threat.
