Katakuri can suffocate King with mochi. King'a fire cannot burn Aramaki plant. His fire is useless against mochi.

Luffy also tanked ACoC from Kaido so it's more feat for Luffy not that Katakuri has weak ap.

Current Zoro without FS and speed as slow as a snail cannot beat Katakuri.

Luffy tanked ACoC from Kaido better than flame off King did yet Katakuri still hurt Luffy. Katakuri only needs 20 attacks to beat flame off King.
