It's not "proof" just because you say it's "proof". The person you are arguing with has to acknowledge that the "proof" is good enough. If they haven't made a concession, and have provided more arguments to counter your "proof", then you haven't won.
I have because the person I'm arguing with blatantly claims my proof doesn't count because he doesn't acknowledge it even though it's legit.

When i tell you the earth isn't flat and provide proof the argument ends even when you don't acknowledge that.
