You're bending the logic deliberately here. The King being way weaker than an admiral isn't the issue here. We all accepted King is a bum before an admiral as soon as we saw him get low diffed despite his injuries. But it's suddenly so hard to accept Kid's defeat despite it happening—assuming it happened. Why the double standards? Why not accept it the way it is the same way we did it for other characters? The only right answer here is, this chapter shows Kid isn't as good as you all wanted him to be, so you're blaming it on Oda.
Why is everyone in this fandom bullying Kid now? If any other character had been in his place, nothing would have changed. The author simply sacrificed Kid, giving him his favorite as a rival.
That means Big Mom wasn't so great in the first place, which's been propagated by so many of us since the dawn of the time. It's just that it took this long for certain fanbases to realize.
How are people comparing 2 YCs losing to Admiral
To
3B pirate, Kid (whom Oda wrote many times that they are newgen to take over New era)
losing to Shanks easily is the same?

Shanks winning was predictable. So Nothing shocking. We all now there was not way he was losing.
But man,
Kid being confident and then losing like that, makes him look like a clown. Man, Oda really hates Kid.
Now people start to realize how Kid and Law were not going to beat BM, even by the every end of the fight where she was still going strong, without hax abilities and extremely favorable outside factors.
