2.it was revealed even before zoros was officially revealed yet oda still decided to give zoro advanced coc. Oda then had his coc not mentioned or even shown ever again

3. The ground work was not laid because of his physcial performance. We saw that without metal he is useless. If the ground work was laid we would see a proper fighting style of his that did not rely solely on needing his environment to have metal to be affective from an AP standpoint. We would have seen him actually haki bloom or use haki in general. He did nome of that. To make matters worse oda had to not have bigmom use advanced coc on any of them while also having their big fight be ringing her out (not even beating her) and had to utilizes the outside interference of bombs to make it seem legit.

The ground work was not laid at ALL

The ground work is giving him base CoC in an arc where it's revealed that you can use CoC in battle

Kidd showcasing his haki, learning ryou, etc can all be handled down the line

It's always clear as day that the rival to luffy is blackbeard

BB is not a rival he is an antagonis tand probably the main antagonist.

I think zoro can do better than them AP wise like scarring shanks with his new power up but still get defeated by shanks watever diff. If BB did it in base no devil fruits then Zoro can as well he did it to kaido whos more durable. But eventually hed be defeated as well but hed fair off better. I don't think Kid and Law are done, i think they will be back to help in final war against WG against admirals and gorosei if they are fighters.

They can likely block his attacks with haki
And most his arent going to scar tbh. Attacks only really scar with meaningful attacks moreso than just attack power

Like technically luffy should be full of tons of scars

Right but Whitebeard didn't have a fleet until his late 40s - early 50s.
Shiki didn't have a fleet until his mid 40s.

Within confines of OP-verse we shouldn't be expecting a fleet from , law and kid, until they are atleast in their 30s and atleast a decade as a pirate
