The Giants believe that a battle with the enemy is a battle to the death. It's far greater to die in battle. The Honor for them is to die on the battlefield. Doesn't matter if the Captain was defeated. Everyone there should have been prepared to die, as they were. You don't get to start a fight, and then beg for your life when you start losing.
It will be hard but it is doable. Oda could write Kid as a the villain of elbaf. Using this loss as fuel for revenge against the giants and when Luffy meets with him again he meets a jaded Kid.
basically what we though Kaido might have been before Oda rushed his flashback
Seeing as there is so much Kidd slander ill atleast give him some credit, the dude was able to affect all the allied ship with his magnetism and was pulling them towards him.
Unfortunately it didn't really matter much. Such an amazing ability yet so underutilized
I like the result, but he could have gotten a few more pages honestly.
Kind sucks, the emperors were in a deadlock otherwise shanks would have gotten ahead, maybe bm was weaker but not by much, this is almost silly writing.
If he manages to become the villain of Elbaf that kinda implies he becomes stronger no?
we all know whoever the villain in elbaf is is basically filler. Look at egghead right now, who honestly cares about York?
Im thinking more in a character development sense. Give Kid his โdreams shatteredโ moment and also make him stronger by fighting his way to the top of the Elbaf hierarchy.
