Chapter Discussion This chapter proved Shanks is not a "true" swordsman

Pinnacle of swordsmen? Haki:

One of the most important factors that allow a swordsman to defeat someone? Haki:

What did Mihawk teach Zoro during their 2 years training as swordsmen? Haki:

What is most important thing for Wano swordsmen? Haki:

What does Tengu considers an accomplishment above Oden as a swordsman for Zoro and Enma? Haki:

What is Kaido reminded of the first thing when he thinks of powers of swordsman Oden? Haki:

What did Kaido first notice when Zoro, a swordsman, used his strongest swordsman technique to scar him like the other swordsman? Haki:

What about someone who has a serious and unending ambition of becoming WSS. What does it lead to? Haki:

Yet people like @uyuu legit pretending Haki isn't by and large the most important factor for any powerful swordsman, much less one who aspires to become WSS.

One of our MC with goal of WSS is sitting there with ACoA, ACoC and CoO.

Vivre Card straight up says the one to beat Mihawk will have surpassed Shanks altogether (not in skills or haki, but in general), but I guess that's just random shit too.

Haki encompasses all, that's true. But not as a weapon, but a way to compliment your fighting style. That's why Haki is brought up first thing during these situations. There's a reason why Kaido brings up Zoro's haki first thing.

Ultimately, what matters for becoming WSS is being able to beat other swordsmen, that's what Zoro's dream is. So as long as he wins, he wins. Regardless of what statistical or haki advantage he had to win it.

Haki is a tool that compliments you. Same as speed, strength, etc. Hell, Zoro might not even have better haki than Mihawk's in some categories EoS for all we know (maybe Mihawk's CoO will still be >>). But that has nothing to do with the simple fact that becoming WSS is simply about being stronger than any other swordsman in 1 vs 1.
If people can't understand this , They don't need copium. They need god to bless them with decent IQ.
:suresure:

You know sometimes people can't see what it is in front their eyes for much they see a white car they are in so much denial that they are going to see is black and That's their truth
That's why is useless trying to argue with the comunity

This is a great way to explain it. If I may add, it's the same thing that we do with devil fruit users.

Luffy is a devil fruit user
Law is a devil fruit user
Kid is a devil fruit user

Luffy's fruit has been weak until awakening
Law's fruit has always been stronger than Luffy's before gear 5
Kid's fruit has always been stronger than Luffy's before gear 5

Luffy uses all forms of haki and has strong haki
Law barely uses haki
Kid barely uses haki

If we ignore for a second that Luffy has the sun god Nika and still has a "rubber fruit".

If we had to give the epithet "world's strongest devil fruit user", who would get it?

Shanks defenders would say that Law is the "world's strongest devil fruit user" because he has the strongest devil fruit.

However, in reality, "world's strongest devil fruit user" epithet, if it uses the same kanji than WSS, means "the strongest among all devil fruit users".

So, it's Luffy who would have the epithet among the three because he has the strongest haki and so, it puts him at the top of the devil fruit users. It doesn't matter what he uses to defeat them, he is a devil fruit user and so, he is in that competition.

Now, apply this same exact logic to WSS and Mihawk/Shanks. The epithet means "the strongest among all swordsmen".

Following this logic, you can understand there is:
- the strongest among all devil fruit users
- the strongest among all swordsmen
- the strongest among all punch users

You could argue that the epithet "the strongest man" or "strongest creature" is for the person who is really at the top and is the strongest among ALL PEOPLE.

The WSS could be the strongest man if he defeats other people than swordsmen.

@uyuu
This a billion times over. @uyuu

No idea how this simple logic goes over your head, man.

Being strongest among all swordsmen is simply about being able to beat the shit out of anyone else who falls under category of swordsmen (again, swordsmen does NOT mean every single person who uses sword). That's what Zoro calls it. That's the narrative Oda has.
Stop quoting me in multiple posts, i wont respond to everything. Its okay for you to want WSS having the strongest haki and all, but in order to fulfill that as an objective powerscaling you should make Vergo state that he is a stronger bamboo user and Kaidou stated that Roger is WSS. Which you cant, since both already emphasize haki over their fighting style.

Lmao becuz you come up with dumb shit like When did Zoro said or include haki in his dream. Its all about Swordsmanship.

Haki is necessary to be the Strongest in the verse.
Sure haki is necessary to be the strongest in the verse, nothing to do with WSS = strongest haki user
Post automatically merged:

I swear to god , I never use Bamboo user or Stick user into an argument.
So why you claim WSS to have strongest haki while no one mentioned Roger as WSS but the best haki user whatever?

Its okay for you to want WSS having the strongest haki and all
We don't. No one said that. Did you read even a single line of his post?

Being strongest of any group simply means being stronger than anyone else in that group. It has nothing to do with a specific thing. You just beat the shit out of anyone else in 1 vs 1. That's what Zoro describes it as. That's what Oda paints it as in Vivre Card.

you should make Vergo state that he is a stronger bamboo user
Why would being a stronger "bamboo user" give Vergo an advantage over Smoker's logia property? Did you even read the CONTEXT of what he said?

"Turning into smoke cloud is pointless against someone with stronger haki! It will only make you a bigger target!"

Kaidou stated that Roger is WSS. Which you cant, since both already emphasize haki over their fighting style.
Because haki is a critical factor that is main reason why anyone is strong of any fighting type.

Same as why Kaido thinks of CoC first thing instead of sword skills when Zoro cuts him using 9 sword style:

Haki matters more than skills for any style.

So why you claim WSS to have strongest haki
Oh WSS and WSM were just casually Weight
lifting in Olympics piece right?

So why you claim WSS to have strongest haki
Becuz He used to fight Shanks. And No haki shanks is fodder. No way they didn't use haki.

while no one mentioned Roger as WSS but the best haki user whatever?
Becuz he wasn't the WSS.
Kaido mentioned like 4 other people with him.
