This is why I and many others have a hard time taking woke seriously.

Why dress like that? Now, I've dyed my hair pink, and anime conventions are a thing. But there's a right time and a right place for everything. If you're wanting your movement to be taken seriously why would you show up like you're attending the next nerd convention?

We've got Cher/Witch of Eastwick, Bald Gandalf, Sharpie Bearded 80s grandma, Hulk Hogans daughter and Star Trek reject 101..

...why?

Why do you care? Who gives a fuck? It’s their business if they want to dress that way.

And people why wonder why pride month is still a thing :suresure:

They wouldn't need it if y'all left them the fuck alone.
But this kind of "wokeness" is not about acceptance, it's about forcefulness.
I feel we've went from accept us for what we are, to if you don't share our views you're a bigot, which is different and wrong.
You should be whatever you are, but the moment you tell me how I should behave because YOU are intolerant of my ways and behaviour the table has flipped.

But there's a right time and a right place for everything
So you are okay with LGBTQ+ unless they don't behave like you would want them to.
Nice.

The problem is that being anti LGBTQ+ is being anti someone else's identity.
Same as the guy above, you are okay with LGBTQ+ unless they don't behave like you would want them to.

If you tell me how to behave to not offend you, you are forcing me to behave un your way.
There are a lot of grey areas, and i think that many LGBT battles have moved well beyond acceptance.
Let's say i was a muslim, would it me ok to condemn lgbt because they violate my identity?

No it wouldn't be ok.
And a lot of Muslim are ok with LGBTQ+, so this wouldn't be a good reason to hate.
many people still dies/are harrassed/are abandonned just because of their LGBTQ+ identity.

So no, LGBTQ+ struggle have NOT moved beyond acceptance.
Let me remind you that being LGBTQ+ is not something you choose or can move away from.

Yeah i saw how accepting islamist states like Qatar are of LGBT, you are right.
It would be ok for you to deny their religious identity for your sexual identity?
And it doesn't matter if it is a choice, also because many people don't chose to be religious.

Again, being LGBTQ+ is not something you choose or can move away from like religion. So the comparison is fallacious.
I'm talking about muslim is progressive aera.

Being a believer should not come into conflict with being a good and accepting person.
