Tbh that could work ngl. Yuji should use the hype that the anime will hopefully generate, and make this a spinoff ngl lol. Following Gabimaru around on his adventures, with maybe some old character popping up here and there would be great. His last work, Ayashimon, got axed on chapter 25. With Jigo he wouldn't have that worry cuz it's already a famous name, plus it got an anime now.

This side story is ambiguous in where it fits timeline-wise. It can be in the 10 day, iirc, break before meeting his wife again. Or it can be after a while has passed. It's most likely during the 10 day period tho, so yeah it makes sense that we wouldn't get more of his adventures. Tho, I am sure Yuji could write something with both of them going places and stuff happening lol.

So I finally finished Hell's Paradise and it was awesome
Now I feel empty inside :(
It’s definitely in my top 10
My fav characters are Yuzuriha, Gantetsusai and Sagiri
Jikken and Gabimaru (great MC btw) are honorable mentions
My least fav characters are Chobe Aza and Shugen

Chobe's character felt so "common"
He had some good moments but that’s it. He never sparked my interest somehow.

Shugen… he was annoying as fuck
I hated his world view, his character and his actions
He was strong but that’s it
I’m not so fond of this whole Samurai codex and he was the embodiment of it
I like Ronins waaaay more
