I think I've heard of their methods, but maybe not specifically of this group of activists.
Throwing soup "on" VanGogh paintings is fun because people talk about what these activists have to say on the news.
And spineless humans beings are quickly showing their true nature when they compare "burning books like nazis" to "make paintings PROTECTION dirty like environmental activists"
As for gluing yourself to the autobahn and whatnot, it doesn't look impressive enough.

There's a serious lack of solidarity between common people, many think life is about everyone fending for themselves and you are either successful or end up poor&homeless and if it's the latter it's supposedly your own 'fault', broader societal issues are conveniently overlooked.
