You can double the minimal wage and having millions unemployed the day after. Best thing to improve life currently is having governament spending less so inflation doesn't goes crazy. Maybe start really paying debt so the taxes can really be used with tax payers instead of just paying debt interest rates.

At first I'm really against all those things Trump is doing with those said taxes. I understand he is doing it to negotiate because USA is so fucking powerful economic wise that no country in the world can afford not negotiating with him but at the end it just forces countries to seek diversity into their trades so they don't be so dependent on US so next time they don't get bullied like that.
If at the end his strategy proofs to be worth it for US I'd really be surprised but at first is just a bad thing for the whole world.

Is this supposed to contradict what I said? DC crime has decreased 30% over the last 20 years, but has been on the uptake since 2020. MPD(DC police) is only at 50% manning and a large chunk of crimes has been done by minors. The increased crime rate has been doing a symbiotic dance with the increased cost of living.
