I'm not sure why everyone is against Shiryu killing Mihawk. It won't undermine Zoro's dreams as he'd just have to beat Shiryu for the WSS title. It wouldn't make Mihawk any less of a top tier but rather make the Blackbeard Pirates a bigger threat if the top subordinate is THAT strong. It's not like Law and Kid beating Blackbeard and Shanks because they're not important enough whereas Shiryu will inevitably fight Zoro and is the right-hand man of the final boss candidate.
