I won't say current Doffy because Oda can just make characters go from weaker than yonko commanders to stronger than 1st yonko commander level in a week.
It's a fact that the characters grow stronger as they progress in their journey; Zoro reflects on this and how, albeit unnoticed, they all are becoming more powerful as they reach new islands.
Which makes total sense because it's obvious that, apart from specific adventures, fights, etc., characters train during their spare time.

Wano doesn't take place one week after Dressrosa. It's more than a month and a half, then they had another two weeks of training from then. What's your point anyway? It's been clear that Law is far above Kidd.
Dude, it's a fact that characters grow stronger as they travel and it's a fact that current Law is stronger than Dressrosa's whether because he awakened his fruit, learned how to use haki beyond the obvious or won an extreme battle. The Law who was defeated by Doflamingo (after having to exhaust himself as both Doffy and Fujitora tried to catch him) is factually weaker than current Law.
It's been more than a month and in the meantime Law has travelled to both Zou and Wano plus his current location since Dressrosa and has fought and defeated an emperor of the sea. Of course he's more powerful now.
They 2v1ed big mom, but because Law has the cooler powers that did more damage, he gets so much credit that people legitimately pretend like he 1v1ed BM.
When irl it was just cheap shot after cheap shot. This isn’t to say that Kid is better than Law. But the whole thing just lead to Law being so overwanked by the fandom.
The dude has ZERO advanced haki and his swordsmanship skills are ASS. He loses to kata because he can’t tag him. He loses to King because his CoA(weaker than scabbards) pales in comparison to King’s(RT Zoro level).

Law vs Doffy is ultimately a reminder of where Law was at only a short while ago and if you’re honest, you can see that he’s not that much better off than he was.
Obviously he destroys Doffy and anyone YC2 and under. But he loses to any YC1 with advanced haki(all of them but Marco).
