Shiryu stealing the Diamond Fruit from Jozu and then proceeding to kill Mihawk, thus gaining the WSS title. Zoro would then have to cut diamond to surpass Mihawk.

It was a popular theory back then.

I like the idea of Zoro having to learn to cut diamond but Zoro not facing Mihawk in a fight again and getting the WSS title from him would of been a major disappointment.
