Tbh, I don't mind there being a chapter dedicated to showing off more of Kaido's fodder. We got to see some of them in Kuri/Udon but not as a pack and not all dangerous at once attacking. Plus, it shows off the weird side of the crew more than mainland Wano ever could.

Only good thing I could take out of fodder battles. Trust me, I dislike them too but I know that they are necessary to getting us closer to the main battles. Oda doesn't like to rush when it comes to this part of an arc.
