Queen talking shit is normal Oda writing tactics. He wants people too look at Luffy like he's not very strong or major threat so they can be proven wrong (embarrass) later.

I agree, Apoo does deserve props for damaging Luffy and Zoro. At this point in the manga nobody should be surprised that something like that can happen.

Crocodile was able to hit an Admiral. Jinbie blocked Big Mom's attack and knocked her off her feet. Even Queen knocked big mom out.

Also just goes to show don't underestimate the Supernovas.
