Shanks just one shotted two members of the Roof 5 with a single attack, those being Kid and Killer

Big Mom landed hit after hit on Kid, and didn't do shit compared to Shanks

Blackbeard, considered the weakest Yonkou by many before Wano, also just defeated Law convincingly

and both Kid and Law are their stronger versions that survived against Kaido and Big Mom and have gained power from Wano

and then you have to consider things like Dragon being the MC's father and being the hidden character since the start of the series

Mihawk being a rival to Shanks that just did that, and says he is looking for someone better than Shanks to fight

Big Mom and Kaido don't look as impressive anymore

sure, they can tank a bunch of hits, but they don't feel as powerful as before
