I'm not even attraction to feet, I am however socially aware. It's weird because there was literally no reason to do it. If she was barefoot as a kid it wouldn't have even been noticeable. But they literally took her shoes off and drew them behind her, for what reason? The decision itself is what's weird. But instead of just admitting that yeah it's odd, they just flipped out and started accusations. And to be clear I wasn't even accusing the artist of anything other that applying their love of feat to a piece about a child character. But they misrepresented my point, escalated it to full on child attraction, and through it back at me. Who would have know being anti-child sexualization would be so controversial in an anime community...
