The last chapter of One Piece ended on an intriguing note - Sabo must tell Dragon about everything that happened on Marijoa.

Apparently, even Dragon knows nothing about Im u- this may be a clue to readers that Dragon's plan is doomed to failure. After all, Imu-sama changes everything. He is like a Joker who beats any Dragon's card.

At the same time, Oda introduced us to the fourth official participant in the race for One Piece Buggy, and made it clear that most likely almost all Shichibukai - the third force in the world balance, would unite in one pirate team of Star Clown Buggy.

What is all this for? I don't think Oda put together the Cross Guild just to kill all the Shichibukai. I can believe that all of Blackbeard's team will die, as will Shanks's team (there's not much of a chance), but Buggy and Shichibukai will be the ones to recognize Luffy as their King. Buggy didn't mind going after Shanks in principle, and now losing the Race won't make him an unneeded character. Thus, I am convinced that the Cross Guild, as well as many of Luffy's allies from around the world, will take part in the battle against the World Government.

Who can ally Luffy against the World Government:

1. Cross Guild with all Shichibukai, which can also include the Kaido Pirates if Buggy storms Impel Down;

2. Sword from the Marines led by Koby;

3. Katakuri Pirates formed from the Big Mom Pirates;

4. Revolutionary Army led by Sabo, or Dragon if he lives;

5. All the legends of antiquity: Reilly, Gabban, Crocus, Shiki and other pirates including the Kuro Pirates and even Don Krieg;

6. Mink clan and Zunisha

7. Neptune and Fishmen and Poseidon;

8. Army of Alabasta, Skypiea, Carpenters Water 7, Amazons together with Boa; Marco and WB captains;

9. Grand Straw Hats Fleet;

Who will this fight be against?

The Marines at that time is waiting for a split: most of them will go to the Sword, which means that of those who can stay to protect Marijoa, there will be Akainu (if he remains alive until then), Kizaru and Rekogyu with a number of vice admirals. Agree, compared to the army of the Pirate King, the World Government will look very weak.

I'm fine with this development, but between how top tier Luffy and Zoro (and probably Sanji) will be by then, having Pluton and having certain other top tier allies (assuming they survive) the top fights against the remaining marine forces will be lackluster.

Many of those that will remain on the marine's side will be fodders but they're the biggest army in the world, so that already evens the odds with the normal armies like Arabasta's, the East Blue Villain gallery and even the SH Grand Fleet.

I like the gorosei having overwhelming powers (possibly devil fruit related), especially ever since one of them has been revealed to be named Saturn, fitting with the ancient weapons naming conventions, and that could give me a post-Mihawk fight for Zoro that doesn't hurt my fanboy feelings if properly written. Said overwhelming powers would should also even the odds against characters that have already beaten Yonkous on their path and are on top of everyone else.

There would be a shortage of opponents for other strong allies, though, unless WG has hidden forces of some sort.

I think the moment one of the admirals falls, the WG will start a coup to hijack the entire organization. Akainu, who has been shown many times to have his difficulties with the gorosei, most likely will be poisoned. Once Egghead is done, they might initiate the coup. Once implemented entire squads of pacifista, old and new gen, to their regular troops they will have the manpower and destructive level that could rival the PK alliance. Put those ominous Knights as generals and they'd even reduce risk of further rogue admirals.

Hell, they might even use the seraphim in Madara way. Send them somewhere, nuke the entire area in the middle of a battle. Flame on Seraphims will eat it like cereals.

You forgot the samurais, yamato (oden) will open wano borders releasing pluton. I dont think the redhair pirates gonna die (I guess just Shanks and Yasopp will die). Another important point is that Iceburg knows how to recreate pluton and we see that Iceburg goal is transform Water7 into a ship (would this project be a pluton 2.0)? But overall I agree with you

Are you even reading the manga? You seem like those delusional fans that treats Luffy like royalty just like the animation team did at beginning of Onigashima. Strawhats aligning for him just forgot to knee too.

That's crazy Oda doesn't portray Luffy like that and his manga doesn't work like this.

Luffy is a simple man with a honorable dream.

No one will recognize him as Pirate King. No one did for Roger. It was a fucking newspaper calling him that.

And even worse you said that a lot of characters gonna die. Really? At One Piece? Marineford had what? 3 deaths? Onigashima was what? 4 deaths?

Nope. Newspaper called Roger that. No one called him Pirate King. Only after 20 years with much story told around the new generation started to call him that.



Kaido, Big Mom, Hawkins not confirmed dead.

Luffy may not want to be a leader, but half the Reverie was Luffy's secret fanclub by the time it happened. The grand fleet had royals, and people wanting his leadership. Entire countries recognize him as their liberator. That's not headcanon.

The character doesn't care, but Oda has written it that way.

Imu and Gorosei have to be individually stronger than Uta at this point, but Lolda doesn't want tension in his story, so who knows. :suresure:

The BPs aren’t in Impel Down. They’re dead. Jack and the F6 burned to death in Onigashima, Ryo killed Queen and King, Kaido died to magma

Imma be honest. He's not cooking shit. Oda writes "in a moment" it's fans who are diehard retards who think he connects as much dots as we do.

The fact that he does a thematical chapters 500 chapters after some chapter doesn't mean he is that good of a tactic.


I think the war will be "all over the place" for better or worse.
