I don't think anyone is even remotely close to predicting how the ending would look like.

Oda is a "whore" for symbolism and "surprising" people with his decisions. The moment he find out someone is remotely close to his final decision he will alter it. To my knowledge happened few times.

MF was a nice arc but nobody fought seriously only some skirmishes and WBvAkainu.
Wano's 8/10 fights were a disaster.

At this point i hope he wont do the same mistake again.

Post W7 arc include battle between Teach and Ace, so Egghead island arc inculde everything what happened from chapter 1058 till now. So it include Teach vs Law battle, Garp vs Kuzan, Shanks vs Kid, and probably flashback-Reverie(which is coming next), plus to that future events with Kizaru and Saturn. So everything that happened this arc counting in it.

Now I don't see any bad things that happened in this arc, everything was fine.

Also most important for me thing in this arc was that there was no fighting scrubs, not stupid enemies. It's not Wano arc for sure.

MF as an arc was great, my main problem was the fights. I dont want some 1-2 pages clashses like Mingo v Jozu v Croco or Kizaru & Marco trolling each other about their attacks and having everyone spamming attacks to everyone.

I want some real 1v1 or even group fights but let them finish the fight.

And picture how long will it take to finish with all the plot involved and so many characters. Oda will off panel many, many fights for sure.

After seeing how all over the place Wano war was, and how it were the Beast Pirates and Big Mom Pirates who were the underdogs with how contrived and forced the plot was against them, with the absurd plot armor and number of allies the Straw Hats had, I am rather afraid than excited for the Final War.
