You'd expect the guy who killed random prisoners for no reason at all to be a rapist. You wouldn't expect Sanji, the great cook and supposed lady's man, to be one.

But vilains in most stories create the plot and shape characters. Harry Potter wouldn't be Harry Potter without Voldemort, there is no LOTR without Sauron, no SW without Palpatine

Vilains will always be driving force in stories, and the story is only good as its vilain, hence why people often like the character even tho they disagree with their actions

That's understandable, it's different when it's a body that belongs to someone else especially someone familiar. Now back to the question. What if it wasn't someone else's body.
