Seems like more of a gag/joke that isn't done very often, but even then, Shiryu is a villain. Sanji is a hero. That's the difference.
You'd expect the guy who killed random prisoners for no reason at all to be a rapist. You wouldn't expect Sanji, the great cook and supposed lady's man, to be one.
Yet, here we are.
Peeping != Rape.

Peeping, body switching, and perverts are the oldest tropes in fiction. In hundreds of cartoons and thousands of books. For. Years. Why is it only in the last decade, fiction is so scrutinized and characters put on blast?

Sounds like the lazy excuse for when authors get pissed that people start glorifying and agreeing with the "villains" from their stories.
Idk what you are trying to say with this

But vilains in most stories create the plot and shape characters. Harry Potter wouldn't be Harry Potter without Voldemort, there is no LOTR without Sauron, no SW without Palpatine

Vilains will always be driving force in stories, and the story is only good as its vilain, hence why people often like the character even tho they disagree with their actions

The gag is that any man would peep on women with invisible powers. It's not some deep moral issue even Brook/Ussop would do it

Just because something was "okay" decades ago doesn't mean it was right

It was right for me to beat up a woman if she misbehaved few decades ago, is that in any way right?

It’s not a weird argument when it happened And Sanji later tries to peep on the girls in Wano, going invisible in a coed bathroom just to get off
Yea it happened but very situational, Also peeping on women is bad I agree but Sanji is NOT the only One Piece Chaarcter that would do this. Oda has even gone and said it himself manga and Sbs.

But aren’t you putting Sanji in a real life situation? There are no baths to peep at nor can people turn you into women. Real life Sanji wouldn’t even be able to do any of the things your complaining about.

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Oda himself doesn't know how to build characters without inconsistency

He portrayed sanji in the beginning as chivalrous

But gradually sanji became more of a pervert - some of his acts weren't respectfull and considerate and goes totally against chivalry towards women

If I’m in a good friends body, I’m not going to abuse it for my sexual gratification. That’s unethical in the most generous of interpretations.
That's understandable, it's different when it's a body that belongs to someone else especially someone familiar. Now back to the question. What if it wasn't someone else's body. What if you woke up as you but the opposite gender with your own body of the opposite gender. Most people are curious about how what they experience differs from the experiences of the opposite sex, there's nothing malicious or rapey about it
