I still don't think Shanks will fall to BB, I think thats not Oda's style. He already let Kid and Law fall to Shanks and BB, but also making BB beat Shanks instead of Luffy beating him would just remove a good story.

Shanks 1st as BB will turn the rat into a limbless meat bag, then the BB pirates as they'll be just another speed bump in Luffy's journey, after that Cross Guild as Lolda can't be asked to chill tf out with the stupid ass gag with the literal clown, and finally Imu since shonen won't be shonen without a OPBG out of nowhere as the final villain of the series to raise the stakes of it all.
