The problem, as far as I saw, is that it's one thing for characters to claim enemies keep getting stronger, and it's a different thing for that to be the case.
You can make Naruto struggle against whoever you want, but if the things he's showing in his struggle are far inferior to what they used to do in the original series (and I'm talking pre-Rokudou), and I'm including strategy in there, then I'm not buying the claims that "it's the enemies who are stronger". They are stronger, sure, but compared to weak-ass versions of characters that had greater strength in the past, not even factoring in the additional decades of potential that have transpired since the OG series.
