Fuji and Ryokugyu will so obviously fight Zoro and Sanji so i don't understand why these sword stans indirectly dehype the guy they worship so much lol.

Anyone with a functioning brain can see that the dynamic of Ryo and Fuji is just the Marine version of all the previous oponnents of Zoro and Sanji.
ZTards

They downplayed King just to wank him later. They will never learn

CoC: Color of Clowns

Science(Knowledge) + God(Light) = Truth
Funnily enough, MHA had Gentle "rubberising" the air and it was so what I felt Luffys awakening was gonna be like. He even made the ground "wavy/wobbly" like Katakuri using his awakening but with that rubbery effect ofc. A sort of trampoline effect naturally.

I actually prefer the Resin logia idea over this Mythical Zoan retcon but I wish Luffy had stayed a Paramecia regardless, a Rubber Paramecia specifically as he always was until that ironically "Godforsaken" moment.

Hyogoro also compared Luffy to a "flame god" or something when he saw gear 4th too. The warning signs were there unfortunately.

Oh no wait, sorry, I've commited blasphemy, I actually mean GODFY TOP 1 WOOOOOO!

:luffyswat::pepeke:
The resin will come back, IMO.

The bubbles that are use in Sabaody and Fishman Island are made from a special resin.

Luffy will melt his own rubber skin with his flames to make his own bubbles to fight underwater.

Anyone with a functioning brain can see the dynamic of Kizaru and Akainu, Lanji isn't and never will be relevant in any discussion that involves strength and relevance. :saden:

Don't tell me you think Dragon will defeat Imu or the Gorosei?

Dragon fans should pray that Oda goes with Dragon v Akainu because he damn sure will never defeat someone above him in rank, not in this story. Joyboy will defeat Imu as per usual in Shounen.
Luffy, Dragon (and Garp), the main character and the two other intended MCs vs Imu

G

Gorosei Informer

To be fair, Imu is the only new "mastermind". It will be bad if someone stronger than him/her is behind his/her actions sure, but it was never stated that fleet admiral were the one in charge the moment we knew who the 5 elders were (and that was a LONG time ago, Drum Island I believe).

The way I see it, is just Imu > Five Elders (not fighters)> Fleet Admirals> Admirals... we know this info from pre-time skip. With the difference of a new person sitting on the throne, and it makes sense imo.

This Holy Knights are probably on the same level as Seraphins and CP0 (behind the Admirals). They being 9 gives me that impresion. Just some fodders to distract the Revos in the Final War.
Aye having a shadowy ruler, a secret mastermind does make sense too. It would be like the WG to have the throne not actually be empty and just part of their own empty facades inflicted upon the world.

I trust in Oda to not pull the same BS as with Kaguya and Madara, at least Imu was introduced a while back now and is slowly being built up.

I always did wonder how the 5 elders actually co-operated, how they were able to to be "unanimous" in making decisions, to completely agree on soemthing and thus take action on it. I mean assuming Imu didn't exist and said throne was actually empty and thus the Gorosei were in charge entirely, how would they decide in responding to matters? Would all 5 have to agree on a decision to make it happen? For example, what if 1 Gorosei at least was against the Ohara incident happening?

Having Imu being in charge secretly and making all the decisions unbeknownst to the entire world makes far more sense. The Gorosei can just be the figureheads, the stooges to make people think they have "more choice/freedom/free will" and not a single entity/person rules over them entirely.

Logically it really does make sense that Oda is doing this. I just hope Imu will be a decent character too by the time Oda does finally reveal them. Imu could be genuinely amazing if Oda does them right. I'm seeing the potential already but it just depends on how Oda will depict them once Imu comes into play properly.

It's very likely Imu will be like Medjed, the Egyptian god that is VERY popular in Japan and given Imu is after Vivi specifically too and she comes from an Egyptian themed lineage/country and such, it seems like we might have figured out what Oda has planned for Imu potentially.

There's also this lmao:

https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/imu-800-years-of-simping.27659/#post-3049994

Alpha2late already made a video on YouTube on this. Its been years, so I'm adding more evidence to support it.

In the scene below, Luffy Shirahoshi and Blackbeard's posters are cut and stabbed. But not Vivi's. Instead, Imu holds Vivi's photo and takes it with him. Imu also has.. an empty thought bubble while staring at Vivi's photo. Almost as if he's infatuated or in love with Vivi

Oda loves his forced marriage stories. Nami and Absalom, Lola and Absalom, Sanji and pudding, Lola and Loki.. and Vivi is most likely next. Lots of panels foreshadowing a marriage, like Cobra asking Vivi to get married on their way to Mariejois:

Or this cover page has a cat carrying a banner saying "Bride in training" :

Something to note: Alabasta has many references to Egypt. Other than the setting itself, the poneglyphs resemble the hieroglyphs in Egypt. Infact, Nefertari is a clear reference to Ancient Egypt, as "nefer" was often used in names and it means beauty. (Example: Queen Nefertiti)

A 1932 movie called the The Mummy features Imhotep, an ancient undead Egyptian Priest who had a wife named Renpetneferet. In this movie, Imhotep finds a woman bearing a striking resemblance to his former love (who is long dead). Believing her to be the reincarnation of his former love, he attempts to kill her, with the intention of mummifying her, resurrecting her, and finally making her his immortal bride.

If you can see where this is going, Vivi bears an uncanny resemblance to her mother. In fact, Cobra told Vivi she looked exactly like her. This is Vivi's mother, who had a mysterious death Oda decided not to elaborate on:

I wouldn't be surprised if the Princess of Alabasta from 800 years ago also resembled Vivi, as they are of the same lineage. We also know that 800 years ago, Alabasta was the only Kingdom of the first 20 to reject moving up to Mariejois. If Imu was alive at the time, then that would have been a rejection of Imu by the princess of the time.

Regardless, the concept of reincarnating a loved one is not new to One Piece. Oda was always building up to Imu's plot. Where have we seen something similar before?

Recap: Hogback was a fan of Victoria Cindry, a famous actress, for many years; however, his love for her was unrequited, as she rejected his marriage proposal due to already having a fiance. One day, Cindry died in an accident, leaving Hogback so distraught that he left his profession. Shortly after this, Hogback met Gecko Moria, who promised to help him bring Cindry back to life in return for Hogback's assistance in creating his undead army. After Hogback stole Cindry's corpse, Moria used his powers to implant a shadow into it, thus creating a zombie Cindry.

Coincidentally, during Thriller Bark Arc, there was also a forced wedding theme: Absalom and Nami. After Moria's defeat at the hands of the Strawhats, Kuma arrived in Thriller bark, and the World Government learned of all the events that took place in Thriller Bark. However, despite taking down a Warlord, the incident was erased and covered completely, much like Alabasta (but this time, without a bounty raise either). I believe this was when Imu became fully aware of Moria's devil fruit's potential. And ofcourse, he wanted it for himself and his bride to be, Vivi, who resembles the Princess of Alabasta from 800 years ago.

However, Moria's power was needed for the battle against Whitebeard, and they needed every warlord in attendance for that war. But what happened once the war concluded?

"higher up than that". Gorosei/Imu?

Doflamingo was directly contacted and assigned the task of killing Moria. Why? Because Doflamingo is the only person that simultaneously has the power to kill him and also already knows the secrets of Mariejois. Unfortunately for them, Moria survives and goes missing. Fast forward 2 years. Moria resurfaces at Hachinosu, looking for Absalom. Instead, he finds Blackbeard and his crew. Now we don't know what happens next, but something tells me that Blackbeard, a devil fruit hunter, wouldn't pass up on the opportunity of getting Moria's powerful devil fruit. Poor Imu now has another obstacle: the Blackbeard pirates. Without Moria's fruit, Imu cannot extract Vivi's shadow and use it to revive his former love, the princess of Alabasta from 800 years ago who rejected Imu and stayed in the lower world.

Another intriguing thing was this scene during the Reverie:

The strawhat was a shock, but why does the place look like a tomb? And why is it really cold? Maybe, this is where Imu keeps the body of his former love from 800 years ago

people talking as if oda doesnt pull new opponents from his ass, like Imu "the big bad" appeared after 900h chapters limão
Oda pulls new factions and characters all the time. Is getting ridiculous by now I agree... But being mad that there's a final boss in a shonen anime is just ridiculous. What do you expect? Akainu being the final boss in the World Goverment with top tiers like Dragon, Sabo, Luffy, Zoro coming after him. In a world where you have pirates like Big Mom, Kaido, Shanks, Mihawk, BB and Revolutionaries like Dragon and Sabo, the WG needs more strength than just 3 Admirals. Otherwise is to much one sided.
