Currently its based on 2 things:

1. That one time Oda forgot to draw Shanks' scar for one panel at Marineford (yet he literally has the scar in every other panel)

2. The mindset that Shanks cannot betray Luffy or even have a darker mindset based on his behavior

The twin shit doesnt register with me, but at worst I can see it being his blood father or brother that doesnt invoke some twin theory (i.e. every scene of Shanks is Shanks and these peolle have not been seen yet)

At best, its literally just Shanks playing both roles

Akainu fought with an army. All Kuzan did was freeze a few weakling. Aramaki was seen as a non-threat by Luffy. Why do you think Luffy was laughing? He never considered Aramaki a threat.

And Kizaru literally brought 100 ships to deal with Vegapunk, Seraphim and the cp0.

Oda will continue the theme of having Celestial dragons represent real-world countries, the Cowboy holy knight will likely come from a Celestial dragon line that used to real the "America" kingdom of One Piece.

The silhouette that looks like Shanks is interesting, but its not Shanks 100%. I think this might be another Figarland member. My personal theory that Gryphon was a gift from Celestials to Shanks could become true.
