He's still my favourite character though.

Orange Mask Obito is canonically stronger than any Akatsuki member per Minatoβs words. The only people who rank Itachi as stronger are Itachitards who never got over their βItachi soloesβ phase.
My unpopular opinion:
Minato is underrated. FTG + Sage Mode is probably the most OP combo in Naruto aside from God stuff and Kamui
