Absolutely yes and i believe he will. If Akainu and Imu fall in the same arc then Akainu will be the last 1v1 Luffy will have before advancing past and challenging Imu. The dynamic of a final war of a series can't be compared to that of previous arcs.

As i said. I believe the Navy will be taken down at the same final battle but at different times and places, that's the key here. The battle vs the Navy will be its own battle, Imu or the Gorosei will be not included as they will deal with Dragon and co at the meantime. Akainu does not need his own arc, there's no time for that.

Missing the point. Oda created a magical BS plot device to get Zoro back at 100% because he had to face a battle shortly after that. An asspull was required and that same might happen to Luffy.

There's no reason why we can't compare one arc with another arc in the same series. We know how shit works with Oda, and it doesn't go in line with your line of thought. I've got nothing against Akainu going down in the same arc as Im, and I have always been on Akainu vs Luffy train. The issue here is you trying to have it all knowing full well that you won't get it. I know the goal here is to establish that Akainu is above everyone who comes before him(Kaido, Kizaru, Blackbeard, Shanks, etc), and you know pretty well that Akainu won't get recognition that you're trying to give him as a major final antagonist if he's gonna be Luffy's Blueno in the final war.

I did not miss the point. I know what you're trying to say but you have to look at both sides of the coin. You can't just say similar things can happen to two characters without them being in similar situation. You may actually genuinely believe Akainu would put top-tier Luffy in such a condition, but we have no reason to buy that idea without solid evidence especially when it took two people on Akainu's tier to do what they did to Zoro. Dude's strong and all but the series is not Akainu wank fest lmao.

Doesn't change anything. If Luffy's strong enough to fight off weapons that can wipe out islands, he dog walks OP's top-tiers, and Akainu's just one of them.

Shanks KO’d many member’s of HIS OWN CREW when he connected to Greenbull and also KO’d a bunch of Kidd’s subordinates incidentally before even using divine departure.

The idea that Kaido and Shanks would be able to use Haoshoku on Mariejois in the admirals’ situation is ridiculous, there’s no evidence that they can that finely control their haki and a BUNCH of evidence that they can’t.

Why would knocking out CDs matter? If the Admirals had CoC they'd do that too.
Long as they're not hurting any CDs they're in the clear.
Of course, there isn't anyone that could kill Kaidou and Shanks if they did hurt a CD, but that ain't the point.

Easy, no one in this chapter is part of the very strongest.
Haki is the strongest power in the story, haki is willpower, will is strength, the ones with the most willpower are the strongest.
Zoro = unrivaled willpower.

CoC clash you don't control but you using CoC alone you can control who you knock or not.
